A man in his almost late 20's suddenly woke up in a jerk, and sighed, having a look at the digital clock, another sleepless night, thinking about her...

He got up from his bed, after arranging it he went to his walk-in closet and took out a trouser, as he has a habit of sleeping only with his boxers on.

Once he was done with his morning business, he went straight to his home gym...

Rudraksh's POV:

It had been a long time since I had seen those black orbs, and I could not be able to think straight since then. Every time when I try to sleep those black orbs come in front of my eyes and

I just zone out,,.

I don't know who she is, I tried to find her out as much as possible, but still I remained unsuccessful in all my attempts.

That girl who saved me, when I was totally broken down, that stranger,,

"Uff, I should now stop thinking about her, Rudr, it's just a mere stranger, you shouldn't think about her"

A voice interrupted my thoughts and that was of my one and only brother, Ahaan,

"Bhai, kaha kho gaye aap, bhabhi ke khayalon me to nahi😏, sirf dumbbells dekh rahe ho, work out bhi kijiye"

{"Bro, where have you lost? Not in the imagination of our sister-in-law right? 😏 You're just staring at the dumbbells; do some workout too!"}

" jubaan kuch jyada hi chal nahi rahi hai teri, credit card vapas le lu? "

{"Don't you think you are speaking too much? Should I take your credit card back?"}

"Bhai aap majak bhi nahi samajhte, baat baat par credit card vapis lene pe aa jate ho, bacche pe kuch rehem karo" Ahaan said whining like a baby

{"Brother, you don't even understand jokes! You will bring the credit card for every small thing,have some mercy on this poor child!"}

Rudraksh looked at his brother in disbelief,who had a well grown body with six pack abs (though Rudra himself had eight packs), calling himself as a baby..

"Koi tere drame ke liye pese nahi de raha hai idar, apna naatak band kar aur work out karna shuru kar de, nahi to tera ye six pack family pack banne me jyada der nahi lega"

{"No one is ready to pay you for your drama here, so stop your acting and start doing workout or else it won't take too much time to turn your six packs into a perfect family pack"}

"Bhai, aap jaldi shadi kar lijiye, jab bhabhi maa hongi to aapka gussa bhi apne aap kam ho jayega"

{"Brother, you should get married soon, when sister-in-law (bhabhi) will come , your anger will automatically come under control!"}

"Tu ruk, abhi bata ta hu tumhe"

{"You just stop there, let me tell you.."}

I stopped my treadmill to run behind him but that traitor just flew away.

I continued my work out session to keep my mind busy, away from her thoughts, but whom am I kidding to, those black orbs just flew in my mind in different directions without giving any rent..

"Ek baar samne to aajao, dekhna pura rent, intrest ke sath vapis loonga"

I again smiled thinking about her and completing my work out session I looked at the watch, it was time to take a bath, so I went away informing my lil brother, who was running like a deer on a treadmill

{"You just once come in front of me, then you just see, how I will take back the rent with interest"}

Entering the bathroom, I discarded my clothes, and stood under the shower, I let the water fall over my body, thinking about that night,

Flashback:

7 years ago...

That was the night, when I was completely broken down, getting betrayed by my own employees, confidential news of our company was leaked out, I was just looking like a looser, a joke, who every one was laughing at..

Yeah, some one once said it right,however strong a person might be there always comes a certain consequence where that person could not hold anymore, however strong he might try to act, but looses his sane self at certain point and that was the point when I met her,,,,

I'm not sure, but she might be a doctor now, cause that day

I was crying very hard on a bridge at night, there were some lorries passing through the bridge, but unaffected by any of those voices I was just crying out loudly.

Then I saw a girl sitting beside me, her age might be 14 or 15, she looked at me and gave her hand kerchief,and said

"Bade log rote nahi hai"

{Elders do not cry}

"Tum kon ho bacche, is vakt yahan?,akeli ho?, dimaag to thik hai naa tumhara? Itni raat ko koi akele bahar aata hai?",

{"Who are you kid? What are you doing alone at this time? Are you out of your mind?"}

I scolded her and she said,

"Bohot rude hain aap, aap ro rahe the to console karne me aayi to aap mujhe daat rahe hai, jab me doctor banungi tab ana mere paas, itne injection lagaungi ki datna chodiye baatein karna bji bhool jayenge aap"

{"You're very rude, you were crying and I came to console you, but instead, you're scolding me. When I become a doctor, come to me, I'll give you so many injections that you'll forget even to talk, let alone scold."}

That was the first time I laughed in that entire stressful week

Looking at me laughing, she said,

"Haste rahenge to acche dikhenge, nahi to bohot rudy dikhte hain aap, Mahadev ko maaniye, sab accha hoga"

{"You look good when you smile or else you look too rudy. Pray to Mahadev, everything will be alright."}

My laugh stopped abruptly and I said,

"Itna hone ke baad bhagwan ko kis dil se maane hum, jab tumhare khud ke log tumhe dhoka de to kis dil se hase hum?"

{"How can we still have faith in God after everything that's happened, when even your own loved ones deceive you, how can we find the strength to smile again?"}

She looked at me momentarily and said,

"Koi apko apna dhoka de vo apna hota hi nahi hai, jo apne hai hi nahi unke liye kyun hi aasu bahaye? aur jo such mein apna hota hai vo kabhi aapka dhoka bhi nahi de sakte na hi apko takleef mein dekh sakte hai"

{"Why shed tears for someone who isn't yours, and who never was? And the one who truly is yours will never betray you, nor will they ever cause you pain."}

"Sach kaha tumne vo to mere apne kabhi the hi nahi shayad"

{"You told the truth, perhaps he was never my own."}

"Bura na manu to ek baat puchu aapse?"

{"If you don't feel bad then can I ask you a question?"}

"Puchoo"

{"Ask.."}

"Jisne aapko dhoka diya ve aapke parivaar me se the? yaa fir aapke dost the?"

{"Is the person who betrayed you a part of your family? Or are they your friends?"}

"Mere company ke managing director the, he was not related to me by blood but he was not less than a father to me"

{"He was the Managing Director of my company and was not related to me by blood but was not less than a father to me"}

"Ab jo hua so hua, aap rote bethenge to aur bhi log aa kar apki mehenat se banayi company ko duba denge, mujhe aap par pura bharosa hai aap apni life mein bohot aage badenge aur meri taraf se aapke liye ye Rudraksh, ise hamesha aapke saath rakhna, sambhal kar rakhna, mere Mahadev aapko hamesha protect karenge"

{"What's done is done. If you keep crying, more people will come and ruin the company you've built with your hard work. I have complete faith in you, you will go very far in your life. And from my side take this Rudraksh (a sacred bead), keep it with you always, take care of it. My Lord Shiv will always protect you."}

Saying this she removed Rudraksh which was tied around her neck which was carved with gold on both the sides, tied it around my neck and left from there, I could not be able to see her face throughout the conversation because of the dupatta she was wearing which was covering her entire face except her beautiful eyes..

And I close my eyes to feel the Rudraksh around my neck once I opened my eyes I found no one except me and I checked the entire road to see if she was hiding anywhere, but she was not..

For a moment I thought everything is just my illusion but once I touched my neck I found Rudraksh with a gold chain...

Flashback ends..

That day knowingly or unknowingly what she said affected my brain and heart the most and what I'm today, where I'm today might be the whole credit goes to her, if it was not for her I could not even imagine what my situation would be, they say naa

"Doobte ko tinke ka sahara"

She was that support for me I never knew I needed!!!

Since that day I'm trying to find her but to my dismay all the attempts are in vain, but I'm determined to find her and one day I definitely will....

Reminiscing the flashback made me stay under the shower longer than usual.

Wearing a white towel loosely hanging around my waist, I made my way towards the walk-in closet.

Wearing my boxers, and a 3 piece suit, all in black and a new Rolex watch from my collection, spraying my signature perfume I made my way towards the dining table. I heard Anya is calling me, not calling basically shouting my name. I ran in the same direction of voice.

In the background:

"Ahaan yeh mujhe dede nahi to me bhai ko bataungi"

{"Ahaan, give that to me else I'll complain to bhai"}

"Chal bhak bhai ki chamchi, me kisi ko kuch nhi denewala, aur me bhai se darta bhi nhi"

{"Shoo away brother's flatterer, I'm not giving anything to anyone, and I'm not afraid of bhai."}

"Aur ek baar soch lo Ahaan, baad me mujhe mat kehena ki mene warn nhi kiya, ab last time puch rhi hu de rahe ho ya nhi? "

{"Think again Ahaan, don't tell me later that I didn't warn you, I'm asking for the last time, are you giving it me or not?"}

"Nhi matlab nahi"

{"No means no"}

"Chalo thik hai, ab to tumhe bhai hi dekhenge, bhaiiiiiii......."

Aanya in her heavy voice started calling his brother almost on the verge of crying

{"Fine then, now bhai will handle you. Bhaii......"}

Back to the present....

Rudraksh reached Ahaan's room and saw Aanya and Ahaan were fighting and Anya started to cry as soon as she saw her bhai

"Kya hua Aanya? Subha subha kyun ro rhi ho? kuch hua tumhe, kisi ne danta?"

{"What's wrong Aanya? Why are you crying in the early morning? Did something happen, did someone scold you?"}

Aanya was not answering and cherry on top her tears were not at all helping him to keep his calm

"Ahaan!! kuch kiya tune, ye kyun ro rahi hai?"

{"Ahaan!! did you do something to her? Why is she crying?"}

"Bhai mene kuch nhi kiya, aur aap sirf aapki pyaari behen se puch rahe ho, me to paraya hu naa aapka, mujhse kyu hi poochenge aap, aap to mujhe ese treat kar rhe ho ki dustbin se utha laye ho"

{"Bhai, I didn't do anything, you're asking your dear sister, I'm a stranger to you right, why would you ask me? You're treating me like I'm something you picked up from the dustbin."}

Ahaan being an overdramatic man in the house kept on going with his rants, which know is useless in front of her brother whose first priority is always going to be his sister.

"Bhai yaha mein bhi to hun. Mujse bhi pooch sakte hai aap ki isne kya kiya muje? Mein nhi dikha na aapko? Kaise dikhunga aapki laadli drama queen ne drama jo start kiya hai"

{"Even I am here bhai. You could have even asked me what she did to me, you didn't see me right? How can you even notice me when your beloved drama queen has started her drama here"}

Then Aanya started again

"Bhai ye Ahaan, ye ahaan.."

{"Bhai, Ayaan.. this Ayaan.."}

Rudraksh gave a death glare to Ayaan and asked Aanya in concern

"Kya hua chitty ese ro kyu rahi ho, ab tum kahogi nhi to pata kaise chalega ki kya hua hai, agar tum nhi kahogi to Ahaan ko kese peth sakta hu? hmm, batao abhi kya hua hai"

{"What's wrong, Chitty, why are you crying like this? If you don't tell, how will I know what happened? If you don't tell, how can I scold Ahaan? Tell me now, what happened?"}

(Rudraksh named Anya as chitty cause of her nonstop bickering as a chit chat box, initially he used to tease her with that name but continuously calling her by that name made it his habit,)

Ayaan, who had heard everything, wasn't that shocked because he knew his words do not matter to his brother when his sister was in the opposition party. However, he was now scared about his brother's next move.

Aanya wiped her tears and started her complaint list ...

"Bhai mene kitne mushkil se first time mera favourite pasta banaya tha, par me use taste karne se pehle hi isne pura ka pura pasta khai liya, bas akhri ek bite bachi thi vo bhi khaliya, aur usney mujhe kal raat karib aath baje dholi kaha, mujhe data aur abhi abhi aap aane se pehle bhi ye keh raha tha ki vo aapse bhi nhi darta, aur mujhe aur dathne wala tha tab tak aap aa gaye"

{"Brother, I had made my favorite pasta for the first time with great difficulty, but he ate the whole thing before I could even taste it, only one last bite was left, and he even had that and around 8 pm last night he called me idiot, he scolded me, and even before you came, he was saying that he's not afraid of you either, and he was about to scold me again when you arrived."}

Aanya continued sobbing in between.

" Bhai kya me sach me dholi jese dikti hu, aap kyu kuch nhi bol rahe?"

{"Brother, do I really look chubby? Why aren't you saying anything?"}

Rudr who was trying to control his laughter finally said

"Nhi chitty tum kaha doli jaisi ho, bilkul nhi, tum to meri pyaari gudiya ho aur itne saare chef the, maa aur chachi the, tumhe kya zaroorat thi takleef lene ki, vo bana dete naa tumhari favorite pasta. Aur tum Ahaan mujhe firse chitty rote dikhi to mene tumhare per katkar hath me dene hai, samjhe?"

{"No, Chitty, you're not chubby at all, not at all! You're my sweet doll, and there were so many chefs, maa and choti maa were there, why did you need to take the trouble? They would have made your favorite pasta for you. And Ahaan, if I see Chitty crying again, I'll cut off your legs and give them to your hands, got it?"}

Ahaan who saw all this was out of his words and was missing Rithika badly(who went out of India for some work)..

Finally, he said dramatically

"Agar Ritika di hoti to mujhe ese din naa dekhne padte, ab to me bhi miss karne laga hu unhe, pata nhi kab ayegi vo"

{"If Ritika di was here, I wouldn't have had to face such days, now I'm also starting to miss her, don't know when she'll come back."}

"Yaar sach me kab ayegi Ritika di, me bhi unhe miss kar rahi hu"

{"Gosh! honestly, when will Ritika di come back, I'm also missing her."}

Aanya said approving his words.

Rudraksh said,

"uska call tha shayad is Saturday tak ajaye, ab khana khane jao tab se maa aur choti maa bula rahi hai"

{"She had said that she might come by this Saturday, now go eat, maa and choti maa are calling you."}

Aanya nodded and started walking towards the dining room.

After seeing her leaving the room Rudraksh said to Ahaan....

"Kya pasta utna bekaar tha?"

{"Was the pasta that bad?"}

Ahaan replied,

"ussey bhi zyada, pur muh sweet hogaya hai, pasta me kon shakkar dalta hai😂"

{"Even more than that, my whole mouth is sweet now, who puts sugar in pasta? 😂"}

Listening to him Rudraksh let out a fits of laughter😂

"Sab neeche aajao, khana tayyar hai..."

{"Everyone come downstairs, breakfast is ready..."}

Maa and Choti maa called everyone to have their breakfast and within no time everyone gathered at the huge dining hall.

Rudraksh's pov:

I reached the dining table 2 to 3 mins late as I got an important call and saw everyone were waiting for me. Taking blessings from the elders I sat on the head chair and said

"Mene kitni baar bola hai aapko ki khaana start kare aur humare liye wait naa kare aap sab log hai ki sunte hi nahi"

{"I've told you so many times to start eating and not wait for me, but you people never listen."}

"Jab aapko pata hai ki hum nhi sunne wale to fir bhi late kyun karte ho, tumhe bhi sunna chahiye naa hamari baat"

{"When you know we won't listen, then why you are late? You should also listen to us right?"}

daadu said sarcastically.

Maa said,

"Din mein ek baar ka khana to sabhi ko milke hi khana chahiye, lunch to tum office me karte ho aur dinner ke time to tera raat ke bara baje ka hi hota hai, atleast breakfast ke time to hum tumhari wait kar sakte hai naa Rudra?"

{"Everyone should eat at least one meal together in a day, you have lunch at the office and your dinner time is always around midnight, but can't we at least wait for you during breakfast, Rudra?"}

"Thik hai maa, kal se jaldi aaunga thik hai, meri hi galti hai vaise bhi"

{"Okay, mom, I'll come early from tomorrow, okay? It's my fault anyway."}

Papa and chachu said at the same time

"Vahi to humne kab kaha hamari galti hai, galti to tumhari hi hai"

{"We never said it's our fault, the fault is yours alone."}

And this sentence brought a fit of laughter.. :)

(Ayaan in his mind :The ruthless person who only knows to smirk, the one and only King of Mafia who has the capability to rule and even ruin the entire existence of a person in a second is an entertainment piece at his own home)

While Rudra was staring at the unoccupied seat beside him, which is for his wife, and thinking in his mind about it..

yah someday she'll be here sitting beside me, gosh man I should stay away from Ahaan otherwise these forbidden thoughts always run across my mind and then continue to have my food.

My daadi with eagle eyes, jinke aankoh se kuch nhi chip sakta {Those eyes from which nothing could be hidden}stated,

"Sirf kursi dekhta rahega yaa fir uspe betne wale ko bhi ghar le ayega?"

{"Will you just keep staring at the chair or will you also bring home the one who's supposed to sit on it?"}

I choked on the food that I was having and stared at daadi.

"Itni der kursi koo ghur raha tha ab meri biwi ko. Hum sabko pata hai ki meri biwi kitni sundar hai aur uski shadi mujhse bohot saal pehle hi ho gayi hai aur wo sirf mujhse pyaar karti hai tum kitna bhi koshish karo tumhare jaal me fasne walo me se nhi hai vo"

{"Till now you were staring at the chair, now you're staring at my wife. We all know how beautiful my wife is, and she got married to me many years ago. She only loves me, no matter how hard you try, she won't fall into your trap."}

My over protective cum possessive husband of my daadi stated and if I'm not wrong I saw a small blush on my daadi's wrinkled face, it brought a fits of laughter in the dining room again...

"Aap vo sab chodiye aur meri baat kaan khulke sun ligiye meine pandit ji se poochke kal ghar mein Satya Narayan ki pooja rakhi hai. Ghar ke sukh shanti aur sabhi baccho ke bhavishya ke liye to sabko kal jaldi utkhe tayaar hona hai. Sun liya na sabne?"

{"Leave all that and listen carefully to what I'm saying. I've spoken to Pandit ji and we're performing a Satya Narayan puja at home tomorrow for the peace and prosperity of our home and the future of all our children. Everyone needs to get up early and be ready tomorrow. Did everyone hear that?"}

Everyone said together

"Ji sun liya sab ne"

{"Yes, everyone heard"}

except our mafia king Rudraaksh who was about to say something but his words were cut off in between by his maa

" Koi naa nhi sunna hame, kal pooja mein sab rahoge matlab rahenge and I don't want any more discussion on this topic and you Rudr Jo bhi kaam bacha hai use aaj hi khatam kar dena samje?"

Rudra who was left with no option nodded his head.

{"I don't wanna hear any of your negative responses, everyone will be present at tomorrow's Satyanarayana pooja and you Rudr finish all your pending work today itself, understood?I don't want any further discussion on this"}

(Rudra's mom is laying down the law, making it clear that his presence at the puja is not optional, and he should wrap up any outstanding tasks today. Rudra, realizing he's outnumbered, nods in agreement)

"Rudr kuch gadbad huwa hai kya office mein tab se dekh raha hu bohot khoye khoye lag rahe ho, sab theek hai naa?"

{"Rudra, did something go wrong in the office?I've been noticing you since morning, you look distracted today, is everything alright?"}

Ravindra asked in a concern

"Nhi papa,aapko tension lene jesi koi baat nahi hai, mein sambhaal lunga"

{"No, Papa, don't worry,thing isn't even that serious,I'll take care of it."}

Rudra replied with a curt nod.

"That means something went wrong right?"

"Papa aapke business man ke ghode mat daudayiye, sach me utni badi baat hoti to me sab se pehle aapko hi batata"

{"Papa don't run your business men horses, truly if the situation was that serious I would have informed you the very moment"}

{Guys don't you think something is fishy?}

"Beta kuch hai to hume batana, madat mangne se koi chota nhi ho jata,me hamesha tumhare sath hu, hmm? "

{"Son if there is something you can tell us, no one will become weak if they seek help , I'm always with you"}

Chachu said in concern,

Then our super simplified Aanya replied to her dad,

"Papa aap sath hai to hum kya aath hai, hum bhi saath hai"

Everyone face palmed themselves thinking about her future husband...

"I may come late today maa and choti maa. You guys have your dinner and sleep"

and my daadi interrupted me with her sarcastic line as if you come early every day. I gave her

"Are you guys done for today" look and left to the office.

In the car...

"Where the hell are you? Why can't you just pic my call in one go? You just tell me where you are and I will come and dig your grave then and there"

Rudraksh yelled at the person in the call

"Ohh Mr.Volcano. Shaant ho jaao. Mujhe bhagwaan ne sirf do hi kaan di hai, ab lag raha hai ki usme ek kaan ab kaam karna band kardiya tere chillane ki vajah se. Lagta hai ab to mujhe otolaryngology ke paas jaana hi hoga. Control your anger and volume man. I am not among the ones who will get scared of you. So Kyun chillate ho? See how calm I am."

The person whom Rudra speaking to replied.

{"Oh, Mr. Volcano, calm down! God gave me only two ears, and now it feels like one of them has stopped working because of your shouting. I think I'll have to visit an ENT specialist now! Control your anger and volume, man. I'm not one of those who will get scared of you. So why are you shouting? See how calm I am."}

"Calm my foot.I need you in front of my eyes within 2 hrs."

Rudr replied.

"Ohh saale kise order de raha hai tu haan? Don't forget who I am. Behave Mr. Rudraaksh Singh Rathore"

{"Oh, brother, who are you ordering around? Don't forget who I am. Behave, Mr. Rudraaksh Singh Rathore."}

the man replied with the same calmness but each word shows how much power and authority his calm words hold,they can easily scare anyone but huh he is Rudr..

"I said I need you within 2 hrs or else.."

Rudra was interrupted by a person

"Else what? I know you can do a lot but forget what I can do? Okay vo sab chodo, you want me to come right. I will think about it."

The person said.

"That's like a cool boy"

Rudra was about to say that but he was again interrupted by that person, and that person said,

"Beg me, then I'll try to consider your request"

Guys guess who has the power to speak like this with the scariest devil Mr Rudraksh. Who is that interesting, calm ,cool yet scary person. We know that you guys are really interested about who he is. But guys suna nhi hai ki sabr ka phal meetha hota hai. Yaha to spicy,handsome aur devilish hone ka bohot chances hai so let's wait for the next chapter to know who is this handsome devil.
